After a brief market research work we came to the conclusion that convenient and effective mode of knowledge transfer is the need of the time for people of different ages, professions and ethnic backgrounds. Lessons designed here are to accommodate the needs of readers to understand the basics of Quran reading, its understanding to know the purpose of its revelation and its being key to our success and salvation here and hereafter.
Allah the Almighty revealed, “Read (Recite) in the name of your Lord who created -” [Quran:96:01] to initiate the revelation on the beloved Prophet Muhammad Peace and Blessings of Allah be Upon him. Allah the Exalted used the word “Read” instead of the word “Comprehend” signifying that reading the Holy Scripture is among the deeds the called upons must do. Reading is really the gateway to comprehend. And in many places in the Holy Quran we find that we are given the Quran for understanding and admonition. As Allah Almighty says, “And We have certainly made the Qur’an easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember?” [Quran:54:17]. Also, “And We have certainly presented for the people in this Qur’an from every [kind of] example – that they might remember.” [Quran:39:27].
The above verses make it clear that Quran is a message for the mankind which we may understand and ponder upon by means of reading and its ruling is general for all not specifying any particular fraternity or scholarship.
Now, reading the Quran is to be in the language that it has been revealed i.e., Arabic. There is a particular way and rules to do that as well. To fulfill the very purpose of reading and understanding we have divided our Course offering into three categories; Quran Reading, Quran, and Arabic Language. Each of these categories are further sub-divided to make the choice for an individual easier to choose the best suited course for his/her knowledge level and requirement.
